My first foray into the exciting world of Business Intelligence coincided with Microsoft’s introduction of OLAP services and Data Transformation Services in SQL server 7. I have spent the intervening years as a consultant building solutions for a diverse set of customers in insurance, fleet management, supply chain and house construction to name a few. For me it’s about turning an organisation’s raw and dirty data into information the business user can understand without needing to be an MCSD or MCDBA.
